Swim Run UK - Loch Lomond Inch by Inch · 5 September 2015

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

A few years ago a my uncle was diagnosed with Parkinson's and then more recently a friend of mine also recieved the same diagnosis.

So in order to Raise Money for Parkinson's UK and just as importantly raise awareness of Parkinson's,  my girlfriend and I will be attempting to swim and run our way across Britain's largest body of water Loch Lomond (and back).

Starting in Arden on the west side of the Loch we'll make our way to Balmaha on the east then well finish up on Luss back on the west side. But in between we'll be visiting 10 of the islands dotted across the loch and running round them so in total well be swimming 10k and running 28k.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, please give what you can. Every donation is greatly appreciated and makes a big difference.
