A little bit about me, I am 11 years old and just about to start secondary school in September. This summer holiday I will be starting a challenge to swim the length of Loch Ness 36.33km (equivalent), that's 1454 lengths of a 25m pool by Christmas Day!

So how did this come about?

I started swimming lessons in January 2014 and as an asthmatic I always found it difficult to control my breathing and struggled to swim a whole length until February last year. In the summer holidays last year I set myself a personal challenge to improve my stamina and went on to swim the equivalent of the English Channel to raise money for my local air ambulance. Whilst I was completing this challenge a friend put me in touch with paralympic swimming gold medallist Stephanie Millward MBE who gave me a lot of support and I had the honour of her swimming with me for the last few lengths of the challenge.

Stephanie suffers with MS and is an ambassador for MS Society, as a big thank you for the time and support she gave me I would like to swim this challenge to raise some funds for another great cause to help people like her that face struggles every day.
