Campaign by Marie Curie (RCN 207994 (England & Wales) and SC038731 (Scotland))
During the pandemic Captain Tom stepped up to support the NHS Covid-19 by taking on his famous walk and inspiring millions to donate. We are offering the chance to raise funds in the spirit of Captain Tom for the charity of your choice.

Story

We are excited to be able to take part and help raise funds for such a worthy cause. There are so many children that need specialised care from exceptional nurses and we know that this does not come cheaply! So, when our school was invited to take part in this challenge we knew we had to do it.  Most of us have had to visit a doctor, been to hospital and seen specialists so we know how important this care is for other children and their families/carers.

We plan to do challenges both in the classroom with our teachers, Classroom assistants and friends as well as trying things at home. We will be doing exciting challenges such as saying 100 nursery rhymes, reading 100 pages of our favourite story books, walking 100 steps, running 100 steps, planting 100 plants to make our terrace beautiful and many more. At home we will be challenging ourselves with a more personal '100' challenge.

Please consider making a donation to such a worthy cause and leave a note of encouragement for our young people as they embark on the challenges ahead.

Thank you,

Lochnorris SLC
