Life has changed somewhat, hasn’t it? We’re all in lockdown, we’re all scared, we don’t know when life will get back to normal.

But every day, NHS staff are bravely going to work, exposing themselves in COVID-19 infection and putting their lives on the line to help us.

And just because I’m trapped indoors doesn’t mean I can’t do something to say thank you. So I’m putting myself through a tiny bit of discomfort and running a marathon...in my (very small) garden.

I think about 2,700 laps should do it.
