The two triathletes in the Smith Family; Anthony & Ruby are joining forces with Clare on Thursday May 14th to complete a Lockdown Tri Relay as part of the 2.6 challenge...

Clare will “virtually” swim for 2.6 minutes using resistance bands, followed by Ruby who will cycle for 26 minutes on the Turbo at home, then over to Anthony who will run for 26 minutes.

This isn’t about setting world records it’s about taking part as a family and raising funds for a fantastic cause: William’s Gift. A charity started by Dave Fenton, Clare’s colleague, and his wife Jane after the loss of their 6 year old son William. William’s Gift will be supporting children & their families at Alder Hey and Manchester Children’s Hospital by providing fantastic care packages to both those admitted as emergencies and those staying in long term.
