Our museums and ships bring to live the centuries-old marriage between the Royal Navy, Britain's identity a an island nation, and its lasting impact on the world. We reveal the untold adventures and unvarnished realities of the men and women who have served on, below and above the waves.

Story

Lockheed Martin - Proud to support the SeaMore Appeal for the National Museum of the Royal Navy!

Help us raise money for this important charity by supporting our runners:  Mike Mansergh, Paul Tasker, Jason Skirrow, Ben Van Den Broek, Fred Elsey and Ian Sperring.

Lockheed Martin has a key role in delivering and maintaining capability for the UK’s Armed Forces. We are proud to be a part of the nation’s most important defence programmes, protecting the nation and boosting the UK’s ability to project power around the world.

The SeaMore project will create the country’s newest national collection at The National Museum of the Royal Navy in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard. Public access to naval heritage will be transformed as key artefacts from five museums across the National Museum will be brought together in a world class and innovative Centre for Discovery.

The brand new Royal Marines Museum will provide a completely modern, state of the art museum, with the latest technology and lots of hands-on activities. It will tell the Corps story to the 750,000 visitors a year to the Historic Dockyard – a unique tale of daring, duty and sacrifice that is an important part of the history of the nation.
