From mid day on 29th April a team of York Model Engineers intend to attempt to run one of our member’s locomotives for 24 hours non-stop round our 2/3 mile track at Dringhouses. There'll be a small team of drivers taking part with a support team and various ingenious ways of keeping the locomotive in motion supplied with fuel and water without stopping. This can only be a successful venture if we can get our friends and acquaintances and strangers to support the event both in advance and on the day .
