Our family is taking part in the Tour De Laings challenge to raise money for the British Heart Foundation. 

Laings is helping to Beat Heartbreak Forever with British Heart Foundation, our official charity partner since 2018. Laings, a family business currently in the hands of the sixth generation of the Laing family, knows the devastating impact that heart and circulatory diseases can have. That is why companywide and in our four locations – Glasgow, Edinburgh, Southampton and Cardiff – we are working with employees, clients and the local community to raise money for a charity so close to our own heart.  

To help support British Heart Foundation and celebrate 60 years of the charity’s pioneering researching, Laings is kicking-off a two-year fundraising campaign. It begins with our Tour De Laings challenge, where we’ll be walking, running and cycling a total of 975km - the exact distance between all our sites in the UK.  

Thanks for visiting our page. We will be walking as a family to add to the 975km goal we have in total between all the Laings participants. We would be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help us hit our target.
