Story
Last year, I was intending to jump out of a plane to raise money for a new cancer centre in Bath. When COVID struck and it was postponed until 2021. In the meantime my mother was diagnosed with cancer in January 2021. She has malignant melanoma, which has spread to other parts of her body, including her brain. My mum is the most important person in my life and it was the hardest news I've ever had to take.
So I’m now jumping for my mum.
She has spent ten years working at the Royal United Hospital in Bath and four years fundraising for their new cancer centre. It feels almost unfair that my lovely mother has not been able to receive treatment at the facility that she has worked so hard to establish. So in July, I'll take a leap of faith to ensure that all cancer patients in Bath receive the care they need.
If you could please donate anything you can give, even if it’s a few pounds, it will be extremely appreciated.
