Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I'm Lois , I'm 30 and I'm a Mum and midwife. I have a gorgeous 5 year old who is my world. My best friend. My everything.

On the 30th may I got diagnosed with grade 3 , stage 2 triple negative breast cancer. This sort of breast cancer is the least studied and only accounts for 15% of breast cancers and is the most aggressive generally. It is however most common in young women. I have undergone surgery and the lump is safely removed. My next step is chemotherapy and radiotherapy, however I'm in the process of trading the radio in for a mastectomy after my chemo  ! #boobbetrayal

The Osborn trust raise money to fund days out for young children who's parents are undergoing  cancer treatment. They understand money is tight and they understand that kids still need to be kids. For me this whole process is going to start in the summer holidays. Knowing that this charity has funded my daughter a smashing day out is invaluable to me.

There are many charities to support breast cancer , and whilst this is my lifeline , so is my peace of mind that there are people out there thinking of the little ones affected, who's parents have cancer.

Please help me support this worthy cause and watch me shave off my gorgeous hair that I'm going to miss so very much !!!
