On 3rd August 2014 I am taking part in the York 10k run for CLIC Sargent in memory of my son,Patrick, who was taken away so cruelly and suddenly by cancer last september. CLIC Sargent was there for Patrick and his family all the way through his two year treatment, and is still supporting his family. Although it is not easy for me to train for a 10k I am doing it for Patrick-he never gave up on any of his treatment and he never complained. With this in mind I will never give up training nor will I complain if I'm finding it tough. Patrick-my inspiration.
