Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Timothy and I am 10 years old. My hobbies are reading and learning about space . My hero is Tim Peake and my greatest ambition is to go to Mars. my brain works differently because I am autistic and I have a genetic condition called Ehlers Danlos syndrome which affects my joints. That's ok we are all different that's what makes us special.

When I was younger Newlife helped me get my special sleeping pod which keeps me safe at night.  I sleep for 3 -4 hours each night so my pod keeps me safe and is my special place. They are very expensive so Newlife worked hard to fundraise the money needed to buy it for me. There are lots of children like me who need specialist equipment that the NHS cant fund or are only able to supply a very basic model when actually a more specific piece is needed. My bed alone was about £5000!

I Have set myself the challenge of walking to the International Space Station, that's 408km !! I started my walk on April the 15th and hope to be finished by September the 1st

I am hoping to raise £5000 for Newlife in total to repay the money they raised for my bed. My first walk last year raised £3,300 so this year I would like to raise another £1700 to reach my target. If you could donate even a small amount I would be really grateful. Tim.

I am keeping this page for donations but it is a little confusing sorry. Last year I raised money through a number of different ways Not just through this page. So mummy will try to keep everyone updated on my total for this year.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
