London to Brighton Trek 2017 · 24 June 2017 to 25 June 2017 ·
On 27th May 2017 Max and I will be walking 100km from London to Brighton in memory of his sister, Alice, who committed suicide in January 2015. All money will go to Mind - The Mental Health Charity, a charity who helps people like Alice get the help they desperately need.
Alice was an extraordinary woman. After an incredibly long struggle, she committed suicide leaving a son, Vince and a loving partner and family.
We raised an incredible amount of money the year she died - for which I am so grateful. However, government cuts among many other things are still affecting mental health sufferers everyday - Alice would not stand for this. She was very vocal about mental health services needing to improve.
We will be walking from London to Brighton. Alice went to university in Brighton and then settled and eventually started a family there.
Personally I HATE walking and have been known to whinge my way round country walks many times since I can remember so this will be quite a challenge!
Any amount of money would be appreciated so much, everyone who donates will get a personal message or a phone call from us expressing our happiness and gratitude.
If you knew Alice, please share a memory that you had with her - big or small as her family would love to hear them. If you didn't know Alice - well you're just a good egg and thank you so much for supporting us.
Love, Charlotte and Max
