Story
On the 2nd April 2023 I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK. In April 2022 my lovely Dad was unfortunately diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. My Dad is a very active, fit, healthy man with no prior health conditions so the diagnosis was a massive shock to us all. The level of care Dad received from the NHS and Macmillan was exceptional and we couldn’t be more grateful for their support.
We are extremely fortunate that the surgery was a huge success but so many amazing people sadly lose their lives to this horrible disease. As a family we experienced firsthand the impact it can have and the support provided through charities and cancer support networks is incredible.
Research is absolutely paramount to tackling cancer therefore, I’m hoping to raise as much money as possible and to help men GET TALKING and eliminate the stigma around mens health!
Love you Dad xx
Prostate cancer kills 1 in 8 men. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.
