Story
I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK.
I know I said no more big runs - but this is different. My husband, Gary, has recently been diagnosed with prostate cancer at the age of 46, a few years after his dad was treated for the same. I'm running (and training!) to to help fund lifesaving research, but also because I want to make a difference in one of the only ways I feel I can, to raise awareness of prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's one dad, partner, brother, grandad, or mate. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.
