Campaign by PROSTATE CANCER UK (RCN 1005541 (England & Wales), SC039332 (Scotland))
Prostate Cancer UK's legendary team of runners embarking on a unique charity run through the capital city. It's a run like no other: 13.1 miles where every step brings us closer to a world where no man dies of prostate cancer.

Story

I'm running the London Landmarks Half Marathon 2027 in support of Prostate Cancer UK.

Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK and the risk is doubled for black men. That’s someone’s dad, brother, partner, or mate. I'm running to raise money for lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

I have chosen to support this charity because of the impact prostate cancer has had on my own family.

My Grandad, Robert Stears, passed away in March 2012 after battling prostate cancer. In 2014, my Dad, Ian Stears, was diagnosed with the disease. Thankfully, he went into remission in 2015, but in 2026 we learned that his cancer had returned.

Seeing the impact this disease has had across generations is why this cause means so much to me. I want to help create a future where fewer families have to experience the same challenges that ours has faced.

Prostate Cancer UK are committed to a world where men's lives are not limited by prostate cancer. Your donations can help make this possible.

Thank you for your support.
