I'm running the London Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK. In the lead up to London I will be running the Edinburgh marathon, completing the Peak District Ultra (30 miles)  and running a half marathon the week before London.  In reality it's nothing compared to what life is like for those battling prostate cancer.  My lovely husband is one of those men and I want to help ensure that families don't have to go through what our  family is going through.  Prostate cancer kills 1 in 8 men. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.  Sadly my beautiful Leigh has since passed away and now won't get to see me run in London - raising money for research has a renewed focus and whatever I can do, with your help, to stop anyone going through what my wonderful family & I have been through in the last few weeks I will.
