Story
Never has it felt more important to have run the London Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK in 2022.
About 10 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I'm immeasurably grateful that he responded successfully to groundbreaking treatment and has continued to be as active as he ever was.
And during the pandemic, it was confirmed that my mate Sean had prostate cancer - aged just 47. Thankfully, he also received wonderful support and treatment and is hopefully on the road to full recovery. But not all men are as lucky as Sean and my Dad.
Having run the London Marathon in 2022, I'm committed to continue to try and raise awareness of and funds for Prostate Cancer through whatever means I can, because it's a concern close to me and possibly close to you too.
Prostate cancer kills 1 in 8 men. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or mate. Thank you for checking out this page - and if you fall into one of these categories or know someone who does, please consider making a donation.
Thank you. Go well.
Cheers.
