I'm running the London Marathon for Prostate Cancer UK. 1 in 8 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer. That's one dad, partner, brother, son, grandad, uncle or friend. I'm raising money to help fund lifesaving research and support for men and their families affected by prostate cancer.

I was thrilled when Phoebe called on a bleak February morning last year offering me a charity place with Prostate Caner UK; almost immediately saying yes! My step father was diagnosed in May 2021 and through amazing treatment has recovered fully. In December 2022 another member of my family was diagnosed although our fingers are crossed that having been caught early a swift treatment and recovery is expected. It now gives me huge joy to be able to raise funds for family members and friends that have endured and will endure this cancer.

I'll be starting my training in November 2022 ahead of April 2023 - I really hope to see as many familiar faces that wish to elbow past the crowds to offer support on the day - perhaps I'll even commit to the first pub round post activities for those that joined!
