I completed the London to Hastings bike ride in a little over 8 hours. The ride time was 5 hours 33 mins and was very hard work due the route being extended to 70 miles from 61.

The route had over 6,000 ft of climbing and I was far from the only one finding it difficult. However, I was determined to ride all the hills because my suffering means others don't have to.
