London to Newcastle - 24hr Bike Ride · 24 June 2012

RoadPeace is the national charity for road crash victims. We provide practical and emotional support to victims through a helpline, befriender network, and information guides on the legal procedures that follow a crash. RoadPeace also campaigns for justice for victims and road danger reduction policies that champion the needs of vulnerable road users. RoadPeace won the Guardian Charity Award winners in 2008. Help us make the world a safer and fairer place.

Story

This is a joint fundraising page for all riders:

ROBERT GRISDALE
TIM GRISDALE
DANIEL JONES
RICHARD WAGSTAFF
BEN WALKER

On 25th June we cycled over the Millennium Bridge in Newcastle to complete our non-stop 290 mile ride from London to Newcastle in 23 hours 20 minutes.

The challenge was in memory of brothers Christian and Niggy Townend who were both killed in December 2010 whilst out on one of their regular training rides in the Lake District. All proceeds are going to the national road safety charity Road Peace.

We are still taking donations so please help us get to our £10,000 target for this brilliant cause.

Please visit the London to Newcastle 24 website to see how we got on.

Thanks
