London Bridge City is delighted to have Bliss, the UK's leading charity for babies born premature or sick, as their Charity Partner for 2022/23. We will be raising awareness and funds to help them support the 100,000 babies born in the UK every year needing neonatal care.

Bliss ensures that babies receive the best care possible by supporting families, campaigning for change and enabling life-changing research. The charity provides information as well as emotional and practical support to families and health professionals. In 2005, Bliss launched the Baby Charter - an accredited framework for hospital neonatal units to share best practice and put family-centred care into practice. Today, 93% of NHS units are using the Baby Charter framework and specialist support from Bliss to make positive changes for babies and families. As well as their free email and video support services, the charity has a network of Bliss Champion volunteers providing face-to-face support on participating neonatal units.
