In March 2019, I will be taking on the massive challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon. I will be running for all of the babies that never made it home to their families, but particularly in memory of precious Jemima Watson. The painful truth is that 1 in 4 pregnancies ends in loss during pregnancy or birth. Therefore, every penny that is raised will help fund vital research into baby loss, particularly miscarriage and stillbirth, so that in the future more precious babies can live. The fund-raising will also help support Tommy's in their pursuit of creating an open space for parents affected by baby loss to talk openly about their experiences-as well as advice for friends/family/colleagues to know how to best support those impacted by baby loss. Each one of those babies is fearfully and wonderfully made, so we want to see more of these precious babies living and being taken home by their families.
