In April, my niece underwent heart surgery.❤️‍🩹

In March, she suffered a stroke caused by an Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) – essentially a hole in the heart. In her case, she had five, and lived unknowingly with them for 18 years.

She is a determined young woman managing the stroke side effects. Still smiling, this weekend she will begin her next chapter - University!! 🎓
