Story
Hello Everyone,
So you've heard about this crazy thing I'm doing and stumbled across my page because surely this cant be for real. Well it is! And there's an amazing reason behind it too......
In February 2014 my Dad was diagnosed with vascular Dementia and early onset Alzheimer's. During the pandemic he really deteriorated and after several months in hospital he was moved to a care home last year.
My Dad is my absolute world and it breaks my heart to see him go through this, however although I can’t change what is happening to my Dad I can change my outlook on it. I decided to turn this unfortunate twist into something positive, one of the most positive things in my life in fact. I've already ran two half marathons and done a sky dive all to raise money for Alzheimer's. I'm getting the opportunity to experience and explore things I never would have if my Dad never became ill. And now this.....
Cycling from London to Paris, all 271 miles, even though at the moment I can barely ride a bike on the road; to say I'm absolutely terrified would be an understatement, but I'm so up for the challenge!
Sooo, thank you for taking the time to read all this and any donation, big or small would honestly mean the world to me.
