St Rocco’s Hospice provides specialist care and support across Warrington, helping those who are coping with a life-limiting illness. It costs around £4.5 million each year to run the hospice – which means we need to raise £12,000 each and every day just to keep running.

Story

As a team - Matthew, Scott, Andy, Pat, Wayne and Chris – we are taking
on the Lon Las Cymru challenge, riding 280 miles from Holyhead to Cardiff, and
hoping to raise as much money as possible for St Rocco's Hospice in Warrington.

It has been 8 years since we last tackled a serious distance on our mountain bikes, so the 280 miles from Holyhead to Cardiff will be a challenge, especially as we have chosen to go the hard way; through the Snowdonian Hills and Brecon Beacons, using off-road tracks.  A real challenge for us occasion Cyclists!

We have decided to take on this challenge to help raise money for St Rocco’s Hospice, a much loved facility which provides high quality care for adults living with a terminal or life limiting illness. St Rocco’s was one of three charities nominated by colleagues at Bents Garden & Home and, after a period of in store voting it was chosen by customers as the Centre’s 2018 dedicated cause, with all money raised throughout the year helping the hospice.   We hope you will support us in our challenge.
