Story
LooseHeadz started as an idea to blog about rugby. Four mates, the love of rugby union and a desire to make a real difference. You see, we'd all known someone who had been affected by, suffered from or fallen victim to some sort of mental health problem. We were bound by a common twine: a feeling of utter impotence when trying to help our mates.
LooseHeadz is, therefore, first and foremost a rugby blog site. It's a place where rugby views and opinions, stories of greatness and just stories of rugby around the world can be aired and shared. LooseHeadz is on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. However, underlying this is our 'why'. We want to help raise awareness and tackle the stigma of mental health not just in rugby, but everywhere.
We want to raise money which through our LooseHeadz Foundation we can donate to organisations who need the cash to deliver the treatment to those who need it. We can't do that but we can create a community for all of us to help wherever we can.
One such organisation is State of Mind Sport with whom we have partnered and will donate funds from donations made to us and from the sale of rugby clothing and our iconic LooseHeadz bobble hats.
So, there you have it...LooseHeadz - tackle the stigma
