Hospice of St Francis Midnight Walk 2014 · 28 June 2014 ·

The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £5m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My Dad came to the hospice on Fri 24th Jan in his final days. He was treated with respect and kindness. Dad was at ease knowing that he was at the hospice and this was a kindness to my family members, mum, brother, sister and partner. Sadly, Dad passed away on Sunday 26th January and as hard as this time was for us as a family the support and generosity given to us by the nurses and staff at the hospice was priceless and will never be forgotten. I am truly indebted to the hospice and the way they allowed us the space and time to simply be a family at that delicate time.
