Hope Rescue provide a place of safety for vulnerable dogs, rehabilitating and rehoming them whilst working towards lasting change to improve the welfare of all dogs. Collaborating with partner organisations to provide services to local communities and support owners to help them keep their pets.

Story

3 years ago we adopted Rodney, Effy's pup, from Hope Rescue. We had struggled to find a charity that would consider us, as Effy was 3 years old at the time. Hope Rescue were so thorough during the application and vetting process and when they decided we were the right home for Rodders, Effy nearly exploded with excitement!

Rodney, Effy and our other dog Norman are pretty much inseparable and Effy wants to show her gratitude by trying to raise some money for Hope Rescue.

We climbed Pen y Fan on New Year's Eve and once we'd reached the summit, Effy gave herself the challenge to climb Snowdon this year.

We will be climbing on 28th May. Effy is very excited and will keep you updated with her progress!

Hope Rescue's mission is to; reduce the number of dogs destroyed in the U.K. every year by providing a foster home, kennel space or rescue placement for dogs in crisis situations and; reduce the number of dogs, entering the animal welfare system through campaigning for change; education and the promotion of responsible ownership; and the provision of support to owners to help them keep their pets and; promote the therapeutic benefits of pet ownership and interaction with dogs.
