Every day in School we live out our values and promote Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation, standing with those on the margins of life thereby becoming agents of social change, and people who commit to a better world. We do this by running campaigns that raise awareness and fundraise on issues that affect our society.
As one way of doing this, each term we normally run a food and clothing collection campaign for Cornerstone day Centre. While we cannot do this, due to the pandemic; the Justice & peace Group here at Loreto would like to invite you to support us financially as we join Cornerstone in the “Big Sleep-In Campaign”. Students, Staff, Parents and Carers will be showing solidarity with many homeless people in Manchester by sleeping somewhere uncomfortable within our own homes on Friday 10th July. All we ask is that you join us in lessening the plight of the disadvantaged in our city by donating on our page.
All funds raised will go directly into homelessness projects in Greater Manchester.
