Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. In July I was going to swim the North channel.  I trained hard. Crowd funded to get me there. It wasn't an easy journey.  The qualifying swim I did at 11.5°, and swam for 6 hours. Brrrr! Makes me shiver to think of it. I then had doubts and decided to test myself. So I swam a 10 hr swim in Bude sea pool. My daughter and her then Fiancè  fed me which was so special,  as non of my family except my husband has seen me swim. 

Just before leaving for Ireland I opened a just giving page for Matha Trust, but because I aborted the swim at 3 hours there was hardly any funds raised. 

Now I'm going to the Isles of Scilly to be apart of the scilly swim challenge and could not let the opportunity to raise some funds for Martha Trust slip by. Here's hoping I can do them proud .
