Story

I am running this years London Marathon to help raise £1000 for St Vincent's school, in West Derby, Liverpool. This is a specialist school for sensory impairment and other needs.

Please visit their website to see other fantastic things they do.

This is an amazing school and services like this is very close to my heart. I understand how important it is for people who do suffer with a sensory impairment to have this available to them. My nephew suffers with a condition that effects both his hearing and eyesight and will need services like this to ensure that he can overcome the challenges presented by this condition and live a full connected and independent life like anybody else.

This year St Vincent's will be using all monies raised to upgrade the schools swimming pool and other facilities used by the pupils.

This will be my first marathon so a huge personal challenge for me also. I will have my mum, dad, partner and little boy who will be cheering me on, on the day so I have to make them proud. Training has been going well (ish) and I thank you in advance  for all your support and  I promise to do my best... At least get over the finish line so wish me luck. Roll on 28th April 2019...Not nervous honestly :-)
