Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. This year I have decided to participate in UNICEF'S #CookForSyria campaign to help raise awareness and vital funds to deliver emergency supplies, protection and support to millions of children affected by the conflict in Syria.

The ongoing conflict in Syria has caused the largest humanitarian crisis since World War II, with the lives of more than 8 million children in danger. Many have lost family, friends and schools and have been forced to flee their homes. UNICEF is one of the few organisations working inside Syria, as well as supporting refugees in neighbouring countries with urgent humanitarian aid. UNICEF’s teams are working around the clock to provide life-saving food, clean water, education services, health care and psychological support to children whose lives have been devastated by the prolonged conflict.

#CookForSyria is a global fundraising initiative curated by influential London-based Instagrammer Clerkenwell Boy and SUITCASE Magazine in partnership with NEXTGeneration, UNICEF UK’s young professional movement, and launched in London in November 2016. #CookForSyria launched in Australia in 2017 and is now in France, USA, Dubai and Hong Kong. 

Between 1-30 June I will be holding a bake sale, selling special baked goods to help raise funds for Syrian children. As this will be a private event, not everyone will have an opportunity to attend and purchase the baked goods however all donations, big or small, are welcome and will be extremely appreciated.
