The Durham Wildlife Trust manage 37 nature reserves between the Tees and the Tyne. From ancient woodland to meadows, they save some of the North East's most spectacular places from destruction. 

Now more than ever nature reserves, conservation projects and environmental education need support to ensure the future of not only our beautiful environment but the ecosystems and wildlife within them.
