Homelessness is so much more than sleeping on the street or a park bench. This year, our appeal will raise money for all those individuals and families we support without a permanent 'forever' home across Greater Manchester and Lancashire.

Story

A short film made for our appeal features Nikki, Rochelle and Quinton (pictured) telling their unique stories of homelessness. Thanks to the love and support from Caritas support workers and volunteers, theyve transformed their lives and are looking forward with hope to a brighter future. #MiracleOfKindness Due to the pandemic, the film will be shared digitally and uses the hashtag Miracle of Kindness, a direct reference to Pope Francis most recent encyclical, Fratelli Tutti in which the Holy Father calls for kindness to be recovered because it is a star shining in the darkness. Visit https://www.caritassalford.org.uk/service-view/advent-appeal-2020 to view the film and download shareable content.
