Lorna's 22 Mile walk in memory of Dollie

Lorna Smith is raising money for Martin House Hospice for Children and Young People
In memory of Dollie Gorringe
Martin House Children's Hospice provides vital care to help children and young people with a life-limiting condition, along with their families, to live well and fully, offering the best possible end of life care and support to the family in bereavement.

Story

On the 17th December, I will be completing a 22 mile walk from Wetherby to Odsal, in memory of our beautiful little angel, Dollie Rae Gorringe, who sadly passed away earlier this year.

I am looking for sponsors to help me raise as much money as possible for Martin House Hospice. This is a charity which is so close to my heart for obvious reasons. Martin House provided vital support throughout Dollies life, and were incredible with her at the end of life. Not to mention the support they provided to Chrissie, Luke and the family. They also continue to support Dollies brother Leighton, who has the same diagnosis.

This is going to be a huge challenge, I havent exercised in what feels like years, annnnnd, its my works Christmas do on the 16th, so I am likely to be hanging with already blistered feet from jiving to the Christmas tunes.

I am also going to be asking for small presnt donations, suitable for young girls and boys, so they can have a pleasant and happier Christmas while at the hospice. No obligation though, I fully understand times are hard 🥰
