The Marine Conservation Society is the UK charity dedicated to protecting our seas, shores and wildlife. We work to ensure that the rich wildlife of our seas can be restored, that fish stocks can recover and our beaches and bathing waters can become cleaner.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Join us, as we embark on an adventure, exploring the Cornish Coast. Starting at Marsland, we make our way west traversing our way around the spectacular Cornish Coast, following in the foot steps of miners and pirates, for a common cause - to save the ocean.

For 14 days, two friends will trek our way around the rugged coastline. 286 miles to be exact, walking morning, noon and night to complete the challenge. The route will be tough, the cliffs and hills immense, walking miles and miles a day. There will be no relenting, the tiredness and aching will grow. Emotions will stir. The weather will be changeable but we will endure whatever the elements throw at us, carrying everything we need on our backs, spending our nights sleeping in basic accommodation, known as our tent, until we finally finish in Plymouth.

It's going to be tough, but the ocean is suffering more, and we will do what we can to preserve it and what lives in it.

Any donations, no matter how small are greatly appreciated.
