Story

Dear family and friends , as you know each year you have helped us raise money for charities ,in memory of Diane Manser my wonderful sister in law and walking buddy, who lost her battle of cancer in 2010, but since then I like most of you have lost many family and friends since then.

Mark and I ,this year are walking with our walking group of 14 to EVEREST GOKYO LAKES! WHICH IS THE SAME LEVEL AS BASE CAMP. 5,360 meters. Which as you can imagine is not a walk in the park .November  2016. So we have decided to try and raise some money for all our wonderful friends we have lost, all who I have walked many miles and summits with. Each one ,we will buy a pray flag and write there name on and it will be placed in Everest the highest mountain in the world in their honour.when you go you will see it.

Dianne Manser died of cancer 2010 my wonderful friend, sister in law and walking buddy.

Russell brown died do motor neurone disease 2012 who intuduced me to the Lake District walked many miles with, we miss our action man.

Julie Robinson died 2013 cancer, walked many miles, hated hills, so miss the cocktails as well as my lovely friend.

Alison Tyrrell died 2015 of cancer my bestest friend , we walked laughed I helped her through her years. Miss her so much .

I have decided on McMillan as all these wonderful friends needed them, and many of us will too x
