Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Well I’ve decided to put my legs to good use and cycle from
London to Brighton!! And no it’s not merely for fun, my marbles believe it or not are still very definitely all in their bag…!!!

This is me really challenging myself here as it's my first long bike ride, in fact it's my first real challenge... ever.. Yikes!!

Not only is the work that the British Heart Foundation do invaluable but it's a charity that is close to my heart (no pun intended) When my dad needed heart surgery a few years ago, the diagnosis, information provided, quality aftercare and recovery treatment to this day was and still is second to none. Nothing was done without precision, details or fact. The human body has always been something that has me in awe each time I think about it. It was created with such intricate detail that only God himself knew which valve, atrium or ventricle to connect to which artery (probably none of the above) lol!! In a nutshell, more research save lives and I'm giving back in the hope others will benefit in ways my family and I did.

Soooooooo on 19th June (which is very aptly Father's Day) I'll be peddling 54 miles to raise some cash and clearly need your help to do so :-) Please give what you can, every little helps and all that malarkey! £5 pays for slides, £10 pays for toolkits and £25 pays for 1 hour research.

What do you get out of it I hear you ask...?? Well if you want to see me walk like John Wayne for at least a week afterwards, help me to reach my target!! I've got only 3 weeks to do it in! NOT the ride THE TARGET!!!!

Right - that's more than enough from me! Thank you for giving xx
