Keiras hair cut donation on Saturday 12th June @13:00

Lorraine Howard is raising money for Little Princess Trust

Keira’s hair cut · 12 June 2021

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Thank you for looking at my page. She did it!! On Saturday 12th June at 13:00 Keira donated approx 30cm (12inches) of her gorgeous hair to the Little Princess Trust. Those of you who know Keira are well aware that she’s definitely no princess herself however Keira is determined that donating her ‘lockdown locks’ to a wee girl going through an extremely difficult time in their life, will hopefully bring some joy. Keira has been overwhelmed by the generous donations, and smashed her initial £100 target and went onto smash her second target of £550 which is the average cost of buying a real hair wig for a child, so every penny counts. Thank you so much for all your donations. Very much appreciated xx

More about the charity, when a child loses their hair to cancer or another condition, we'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. We won't stop until the research that we fund ends childhood cancer forever. Promise. Please visit us at www.littleprincesses.org.uk to find out how you can help us give young people back what cancer takes away. The Trust relies solely on the efforts of enthusiastic community fundraisers. We receive no formal funding. Please help to raise money for us so that we can help more families.
