To tell you a little as to why we are so passionate about this cruel life robbing disease. Both Sharon and Lorraine's parents have Dementia/Alzheimers and we are slowing losing the person they were. Also we both have close friends who have parents with this disease and know how hard life is for the sufferers and their families. 

This charity receives no government funding for the research and depends solely on the generosity of people like us to raise funds. With your support this will allow them to fund pioneering research programs. We hope to highlight this condition and with your help, fight dementia. Because we are living longer, the chances of dementia affecting us all, increases.

We will be fund raising for the whole of 2018 and this will include various events (to be posted) and we will both be running 1/2 marathons throughout the year in aid of the awareness of Alzheimer's.
