When my wonderful son, Ryan was diagnosed with terminal cancer in September 2019, our world fell apart. Ryan was so strong during his fight for time, and did as much as he could to help others until the battle was lost in February 2021. As his Mum, Ryan asked me to continue helping people in similar circumstances, after he passed. It is my honour to follow his wishes, continuing to bring his strength, positivity and generous spirit into our present. 

During these painful years, Tynedale Hospice at Home has given our family incredible support. When I heard they were organising a Fire Walk to raise funds, I could hear my son's voice saying 'Go for it, Mum'.
