I have followed Ellen MacArthur since I was little. Mum and Dad brought me her book about her single handed sail around the world starting from Falmouth.

When looking for a charity to run this half marathon for and I spotted Ellen's Cancer Trust I couldn't think of a better cause. Cancer has effected so many people's lives and this wonderful trust takes children who are rehabilitating back into society on sailing and outdoor adventures. To get there confidence back and meet new friends who have been through an experience just like theirs. 

This 13.1 miles are going to be a challenge but knowing that it's for such a great cause will keep me going. Please donate to this amazing charity, and any friendly faces along the way will be a great help. It is taking place on the 10th October.
