It's 2020 and a leap year. I wanted to challenge myself and do something new and worthwhile. 

We all know someone who has been affected by cancer in some way. 

Blood Cancer claims more lives than prostate and breast cancer each year and is the third biggest cancer killer. Bloodwise funds vital research to improve treatments and survival rates as well as offering much needed support to families and individuals living with cancer. 

I was inspired to do something good not only for myself but to help a very worthwhile charity. A friend at my Crossfit gym shared her story about her mother's diagnosis with blood cancer. She is doing this event too, so in support of her and her family and many others I wanted to help.

This is my first big sporting event. It includes:

750 metre swim
20k bike
5.5k run

Please help me reach my goal of raising £350 to give vital support to Bloodwise and also help get my butt over the finish line. Please give whatever you can afford and if you can't afford to give please don't worry.
