Story

THIS ONES FOR RUBY

Lou and Emma Tri for Ruby...

Yo Stop, collaborate and listen... !!!

Ruby, is this rocking kid with the most awesomeness parents EVER – sadly 2 years ago 6 year old Ruby Lambert  went to school.  Later that day she collapsed with massive heart failure. Ruby stopped breathing and spent up to 40 minutes without oxygen, but was saved by the superhuman effort of school first-aider

Although Ruby survived, she sustained a life-changing brain injury and is currently working hard to relearn all the skills she once took for granted. Ruby lost her ability to speak, eat, walk and smile. Gradually she has been able to show us that she is still the same little girl who is fighting her way back to us.

You can read more here http://www.one4ruby.com/

Ruby and her parents are an inspiration – Truly, take some time to read their blogs and you’ll have an insight how the things we take for granted every day can keep them going for months -  1 smile from ruby that gives them hope!

We need to raise funds to keep her treatment going. So far she has come further than anyone ever excepted. Seeing the photos and videos and reading the parents blogs lift you, but also sinks your heart to see what they have been through. Their very honest and positive stories are inspirational.  LETS BE FRANK, its pants and its tougher than we can ever imagine for them - it’s been a long long 2 years ...

If Ruby keeps the treatment she could live a normal life –

We’re 2 very busy mums who have found very little time to train for this tri, so we’re doing it somewhat unprepared, no training,  broken toe, no equipment and 26 days to go...

WISH US LUCK!!!

PLEASE SPONSOR AND WE PROMISE NOT TO BAIL OUT AND WE PROMISE TO CORSS THE FINSIH LINE!!!
