Mendip Challenge 2019 · 2 June 2019 ·

Weston Hospicecare provides expert end-of-life care, free of charge, to people with life-limiting illnesses. Our goal is people can live as well as they can, for as long as they can; we help them feel like family and friends again, not just patients and carers.

Story

In a wild moment of stupidity both Amanda and Louise have agreed to walk the full 30 miles of the Mendip Challenge  as it is the Hospice’s 30th  Anniversay this year!  So - no going back now!

All the money we can raise will be vital to help continue to support all aspects of the Hospice.

Receiving an end-of-life diagnosis can be difficult, not just for the patient but also for their loved ones. At Weston Hospicecare, our team of palliative care experts is dedicated to working together to provide specialist support. Our social, emotional, psychological, spiritual and physical care helps guide people through one of the most difficult experiences they will ever face. With only 20% of our funding coming from the NHS, we have to raise £4 million each year to fund our care - something that's only made possible by our community.
