Story

On Saturday 3 July myself and some other amazing humans will be tackling the Macmillan Mighty Hike which involves walking 26 miles through the beautiful (but hilly) Yorkshire Dales. This is a pretty mammoth challenge for us all but we’re motivated to complete this Mighty Hike knowing that it won’t be easy, but that every step we take and every pound we raise, we are helping Macmillan to continue their essential work.

My story...

In May 2020, we lost our gorgeous mum Ann to Lung Cancer.  She was diagnosed in Oct 2019 and the last few months of her life were extremely hard for her and for us all. Macmillan were there us her and for us all when many people couldn’t be, not out of choice but because of the Coronavirus pandemic

The 24/7 support that Macmillan gave to our family was absolutely priceless and we couldn’t have gotten through those very difficult times without their expert care and advice.

For those that know me, know I love to hike but this will be the longest and hardest hike I’ve ever done but I am determined to complete this knowing that all the money raised is going to such a worthy cause

The team and I would love and appreciate your support by way of a donation however big or small

Thank you for your support! Lou, Hannah, Anna, Amanda & Sheila xx
