Story

#TeamLoughTec is aiming to climb to the summit of Mount Errigal on Saturday 13th August 2022 to raise vital funds for their nominated charity, Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.

All funds raised will help support the charity's vital work.

Air Ambulance NI, working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS), provides the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the region. Air Ambulance NI can reach any part of the province by helicopter in approximately 25 minutes, which is vital when serious or life-threatening situations occur. Air Ambulance NI Charity aspires to raise £5,500 each day, equating to £2 million annually, to maintain and sustain this service.

LoughTec CEO Seán McDermott commented, “We are delighted to support Air Ambulance Northern Ireland this year as our nominated charity partner. As a company, we know first-hand how important the service is to people who require urgent medical care. Air Ambulance NI, working alongside their partners at NIAS, attends traumatic situations every single day, delivering the highest quality care, so it’s vital we get behind them and not take this service for granted. We look forward to doing our bit in helping to promote the charity and its lifesaving service for the people of Northern Ireland.”

Any donations would be much appreciated by LoughTec and Air Ambulance Northern Ireland.
