Story
Me and Louie will be cycling 14 miles over woodhead on the transpennine trail for the Sheffield children's hospital charity (weather permitting).
Louie was taken into Sheffield children's hospital a year ago after his organs began to shut down. He was diagnosed with pims-ts, a complication due to having covid-19. It is a rare illness and not much is known about it. The hospital put everything into helping Louie in such a scary time and we want to give back. We thank everyone during his stay, the doctors and nurses, cleaning staff, playtime staff, catering staff, even the ladies in Costa who kept me supplied with toasties, you name it, you helped us out so much during our stay in the middle of a lock down and pandemic. Louie is now aged 7 and ready to take on his challenge. He is a keen cyclist and ready to take on 14 miles over the countryside.
