Felix was seemingly ditched in my neighbourhood a long time ago. After trying to catch him for years, we finally succeeded last week, when he was in too much pain and discomfort to run away anymore. 

Unfortunately Felix can't stay with us due to cat saturation, so we're working with the small local charity Here For Cats to find him a new home - where he can live out a distinguished retirement. Before that can happen, he needs urgent surgery in the region of £800 to remove several infected masses from his ears. The masses are benign, but they are uncomfortable, and years of living rough have led to a painful infection. We think the terrible smell is what put a lot of people off from helping him. 

With the tumors gone, Felix will be fresh as a daisy and ready for some serious loving. After just one night out of the rain, he decided that humans are the best thing ever. Belly rubs, blankets, treats, and cuddles are his new groove, and he'd love a human home to share. Please help us make this a reality by helping with the urgent care he needs. We're delighted that the charity has offered to split the bill with us, but every penny donated directly to Felix will help Here For Cats help other meowing fluffbutts.
